Did you know? I am a proud part-owner of the Caledonian Braves, a fifth-division wee football club in Scotland! I decided to invest in the team back in 2023, after seeing a couple of their social media posts. I was fascinated by the prospect of ownership, a financial achievement that would have been inconceivable to think about growing up. I was also fascinated by the project itself – to reach the top flight of Scottish football in 10 years or less. I took $1000 of my 2026 World Cup savings to invest to the Braves, and over a year later, I made my visit to Alliance Park. Oh everyone was so welcoming! From the parents of the players, to the staff, Club President Chris Ewing and Head Coach Waddell, I felt welcomed to the club and the community. I can’t wait to come back to Glasgow and see the team action once more!
